recently i have had the opportunity to help out doing community service. haha no i didn’t get in trouble have have to do community service hours or what not. but i feel that we should all do something for the community. my theory is the more you do the more you get out of it.

i volunteered my time, and engery to help out the Aflac iron girl event series.

the first day we worked the goodie bag station, where we handed out a bunch of samples, or actual product. there was eye drops, hair ties, a stop pain sample, soft lips, prunes, luna bars, and a tons of other things. the best part, we got to fill up on the goodies as well.

the second day we worked the goodie bag station again, and then at 2 we switched to registration. it surprised me with how many people who don’t really show up, but just sign up to donate the money or something? well at least it is for a good cause

this upcoming weekend i will be helping out with a the WeightWatchers booth at the Go Red for Women event. there will be “red boas, streamers, and hearts everywhere” with face painting!!! this should be fun, even though i will have to wake up super early. oh well :)
